Buffalo Days is coming up in Regina.
There was a big sign downtown that
said:
"Dress Western--for Buffalo Days"

Buffalo Days is like Toronto's CNE.
An old school exhibition (agribition)
that has rides, white trash, farm animals
and sickly sweet and greasy food.
I will be going, fer sure!
Because, in Toronto, the white trash
and the just trashy are dying breed.
Here, I'm looking forward to the genuine
article. I'm also hoping to score a
DV camera to capture Buffalo Days in
all its mulleted and cowboyed glory.
Of course, I will be taking snapshots
of this phenomenon.
Maybe I'll even ride the mechanical bull
and finally live out my Urban Cowboy
fantasies.
